Egyptian cotton sheets for a full bed rarely come in color, which is what makes this pale yellow set worth a look. The 1000 thread count sateen is the same luxury weave as the white and silver sets, but the soft yellow brings morning light into the room before the curtains open. True Grip deep pocket fits mattresses up to 51 cm.
Egyptian cotton earns its name from staple length. The fibers are longer than standard cotton, so the yarn spun from them is finer, stronger and far less prone to pilling. That is why a 1000 thread count Egyptian cotton sheet feels dense and fluid rather than stiff, and why it tends to get softer with washing instead of thinner.
That 51 cm pocket covers most pillow top and memory foam beds sold in Lebanon. Full size suits a 137cm mattress. Machine washable, and worth washing before first use to bring the sateen up.
